Why Misen’s Blue Kitchen Shears Are a Kitchen Essential

Misen's Standard Kitchen Shears handle the full range of everyday kitchen tasks — snipping fresh herbs, breaking down a whole chicken, cutting pizza straight from the pan, or trimming parchment to fit a baking sheet. The blue colorway makes them easy to spot in a busy kitchen drawer, and at $34 they deliver reliable, daily-use performance without compromise.

These shears are built for cooks who want one tool that genuinely does it all. If you frequently prep for a crowd and want a dedicated pair for smaller tasks like trimming scallions or portioning dried pasta, the Small Blue Kitchen Shears are a natural complement. For households that need more than one pair on hand, the Blue Kitchen Shears Set keeps both sizes within reach. Every Misen shear comes backed by a lifetime warranty against defects, so this is a tool you can count on long-term.

My first choice above all others

We have several shears (Cutco, Fiskers) but the ones I reach for first are the Misen shears. They are razor sharp and fit my old hands (I am in my 80's) perfectly and I cook constantly for family and groups occasions of 6 or more and am always needing to open food packages. I am an avid cookbook reader and love to try new things. My new Misen shears are my new kitchen love! Thank you guys for making my life easier and more enjoyable.
